Get HalCode AI Assistant up and running in minutes

Step 1: Install from VS Code Marketplace

  1. 1.Open VS Code
  2. 2.Go to Extensions (Ctrl+Shift+X / Cmd+Shift+X)
  3. 3.Search for "HalCode AI Assistant"
  4. 4.Click "Install"

Step 2: Get Your API Keys

You'll need at least one API key to use HalCode. Choose Claude, Gemini, or both:

Step 3: Configure API Keys

  1. 1.Click the HalCode icon in the sidebar
  2. 2.Click "Settings" (⚙️)
  3. 3.Click "Set API Key"
  4. 4.Choose your provider (Claude or Gemini)
  5. 5.Paste your API key

✅ Done! You're ready to start chatting with AI. Open a new chat and ask your first question!
